This is our family favorite recipe blog. One thing that is quite clear, we love to eat good food. Our good food usually is healthy; however, we do eat our share of junk food at times and thank goodness that some of those recipes are included in this blog. Since we lived in Japan for about a decade, we are rather partial to Asian cuisine. Therefore, if you are partial to that fanfare, you will pleasantly find a number of great, authentic Asian or Japanese recipes. Enjoy!!
1 1/2 c. softned butter, 3 sticks
1 c. plus 2 T. sugar
1 c. plus 2 T. brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 T. vanilla
3 1/2 c. flour
1 /2 T. baking soda
1 t. salt
3 c. chocolate chips
prepare a cookie sheet by spraying with spray. preheat oven to 375
beat butter and sugar until creamy
add eggs one at a time beating in between then add vanilla flour salt and soda. mix well.
gently fold in chocolate chips and spread batter into pan. bake for 17-18 min.. cut when warm.
